Minnesota state reinsurance fund slashed
Minnesota could lose nearly $100m in federal funding for a state reinsurance programme designed to reduce costs for its individual health insurance marketplace. The state’s lawmakers have publically expressed shock over a reduced estimate on federal funding for the state’s reinsurance programme, which has helped keep premiums steady.
